Fashion rules; do you still follow them?

1. No socks with sandals
2. When in doubt wear black. A black dress, top, or trouser never goes out of style
3. No overalls (unless you actually work on the farm)
4. Clothes should always be comfortable...not too tight and not too loose.
5. Wear something that fits! No muffin tops, bulges, or pouches please.
6. Gold with silver jewelry
7. Men should never wear jean shorts. No exceptions.

What do you think?

How do you feel about Grandparent's spanking your kids?

Grandparents should have respect for the desires of the parents. I mean, most have the maturity and common sense to realize that every parent has different techniques, and that their children won't parent their own kids exactly as they parented them. I think spanking is a very personal choice a lot of people are not comfortable with, and absolutely no one should just assume they have the right to smack a child who is in their care. They need to receive permission from the parent.

LOVE. Is there such a thing as love, or is it just another kind of fairytale painted to mislead us all? What is the difference between caring and loving? Can one really be totally 'in love' with someone?

“When you look at love, you're looking into the face of appreciation.”
Throughout the history of mankind, we as a world culture have made love out to be mysterious, complex, difficult, and undefinable. It’s the subject of endless poems and literary works. There is an enormous amount of material available out there about love, a lot of it contradictory.

We’ve been given the impression that to define love is near to impossible. Maybe there’s a fear that if we define it, it would somehow be less powerful...less impactful...less exhilarating. Maybe we like the mystery of it. But is it really that complicated? Perhaps the complications surrounding love come from all “stuff” we add on to this powerful emotion. Lets drop all the baggage surrounding relationships and define what it is we are experiencing in the moment of love.

Love is Accepting.
Acceptance is labeling someone as "okay" and having no particular desire to change them. Who they are is perfectly fine with you. You pose no condition on whether you will love them or not. This is call unconditional love. When your love IS conditional, the moment they step outside your set of conditions, love evaporates.

Love is Appreciating.
Appreciation is one step beyond acceptance. Its when your focus is on what you like about another. We look at them and feel this sweeping appreciation for who they are, their joy, their insights, their humor, their companionship, etc. When someone says they are "in love" with another, they mean their appreciation is so enormous for this person that it consumes their every thought.

True Love

True love tell me what your thoughts are on it, the limits, does it exist?

Can true love break through anything hiding your emotions...
Can true love cause you to die without them...
Can true love make you slowly break down into a mental state...
Can true love help you fight against anything (you know like in the movies, they take bullet after bullet and they don't go down because they are determined to protect a loved one)

Do you believe your first love can be your true love?

For me true love is when you can say, and honestly mean, that you would do anything for someone without question except a few things. When you know you would give your life for theirs without thought. When you would sacrifice your happiness, your wants, your needs, your life too give them just one good day. All without asking for anything. To me that is true love, even if it is not returned. I don’t believe true love has a limit, but if it does it would be your breaking point.

I believe you may love many people in your life in a romantic way, but you can only ever be in love with one. Yes I believe your first love can be your true love in some cases.

What difference does it mean to Christians to know that they can never be separated from God's love?

It produces a blessed hope! Not the kind that says, "I hope I get a new ______." That's a wishful kind of hope. I'm talking about a favorable and confident expectation. It has to do with the unseen and the future.

If we lose our hope, we have nothing!

I Pet. 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a LIVING HOPE through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.

Titus 2:11-13 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, 12 teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, 13 looking for the BLESSED HOPE and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ.

II Thess. 2:16, 17 Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and our God and Father, who has loved us and given us everlasting consolation and GOOD HOPE by grace, 17 comfort your hearts and establish you in every good word and work.

Heb. 6:17-20 Thus God, determining to show more abundantly to the heirs of promise the immutability of His counsel, confirmed it by an oath. 18 that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we might have strong consolation (encouragement), who have fled for refuge to LAY HOLD OF THE HOPE (confidence) set before us. 19 This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil, 20 where the forerunner (Jesus) has entered for us, even Jesus, having become High Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.

Rom. 8:24, 25 For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees? 25 But if we hope for what we do no see, then we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.

Do You Notice White Women Dye Their Hair As Much As Black Women Relax Their Hair?

I hate sounding all typical comparing Whites and Blacks like this but, don't you notice?

People are afraid Whites are going to be extinct. Well, they already are! Everywhere you look there is a blonde woman.........with brown roots.

What is it that White woman dye their hair so much, any color to be exact?

Again I'm not shifting focus or being a racist ignorant, but I was just wondering?

Any thoughts?

Why is the focus so much on the Black woman who relax or weave their hair?

How Could I Fix My Study Skills And Perform Better?

After you've studied for a given class meeting, do you feel like you understand the material when someone else talks about it? Are you able to answer questions or solve problems? Are you able to apply what you've learned to new problems and issues? You should be shooting to answer all three questions "yes," but most people only manage to say "yes" to the first one or two.

First, I suggest that you go to your professors' office hours with your notes from lectures and notes from the readings (if you have them) and with some old assignments and/or tests, and ask, "I'm working very hard but my grades don't reflect that. Do you have any idea what I'm doing wrong?" Your professors won't be able to give you a lot of time, but because they know the material well and because they're familiar with a lot of students, they might be able to give you an idea of where to start

Next, your college may have a center of some sort for study skills or academic success, and someone there might be able to help you better. I suggest that you go there and ask for help. If you have no idea where to find such a thing, try calling the Student Affairs office and asking. Someone there might be able to help you figure out new ways to study that are more likely to result in success.

And finally, you may want to look into tutors. Some schools will provide these for free or for a small amount of money, but it may be worth it to pay out of pocket for tutoring yourself. The departments that offer the classes you're taking can probably refer you to someone, but they are likely to be suggesting people who did well in the same class you're in now, and you should be looking not just for people who did well, but also people who have experience teaching

5 Reasons Why Men Cheat

1. To see if they can get away with it. If a man has the attitude of “what she doesn’t know, won’t hurt her,” he may cheat to see if he is sneaky and smart enough to get away with it. However, with all the advancement in surveillance spy ware, getting caught has now become easier than ever.

2. They have fallen out of love. Sometimes men become so comfortable in a relationship, they don’t know how to get out. They may be staying in the relationship because of children or financial reasons. However, they feel like they are missing out on love and may seek it out elsewhere. In their mind, this is as close to win-win as they can get.

3. You argue a lot. Men will sometimes cheat to get away from an overly critical or argumentative partner. Who wants to be around someone who is constantly on them about something? Not me!

4. It boosts their ego. Sometimes men no longer feel like they are attractive to the opposite sex and when a woman shows some interest, not only does a man react, he may allow her to stroke his ego and more. There is nothing like the thrill of the chase to men on the hunt. When they are finally rewarded for their efforts, their egos swell even larger.

5. Because you have allowed it in the past. If you have forgiven a cheating man a couple of times, they are more than likely going to cheat again because they already know if they plead enough, you will forgive them

BONUS: To get revenge. A man will sometimes cheat if he finds out his partner was cheating on him. How else is he supposed to heal those hurt feelings of his?

Leggings with open toe shoes; a BIG NO NO!!!

Can you picture someone wearing majorly sexy shoes with some nasty old pantyhose sticking out from underneath?! EEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWW!! stick to bare legs or just closed toes. Plus, Its not fashionable because when your toes peek through, it's not your toes that get seen, but the leggings. It's pretty much the same thing with sandals and socks, you just don't do it. If the shoes give just a peek of toe, it's not so bad, but overall its better to save the leggings for closed toed, and show off your bare, cute, manicured toes with open toed shoes

The Casey Anthony Trial

I have been following this case since Caylee went missing. First I thought this is another case of missing child and young brat careless mother. But after Casey's party pics got published and other evidences came in to light, I feel Casey is the murderer. What I guess is, she was using chloroform on her daughter since some time to go for parties and sleep around. That day she overdosed her with it and poor girl passed away. Casey borrowed the shovel from neighbor and dug up a hole under the play house. She buried the baby there. That's why dogs kept on going back there. Then Casey freaked out and dug up the body, put it in her trunk and disposed the body.
Now to save herself she is throwing her dad under the bus.
The defense made up the story that she was drowned into the pool & her dad abused her as a child. The story about drowning into the pool was denied by Casey herself in a phone conversation. And if her dad abused her, why would she leave her own daughter with a predator? The grandparents watched the little child most of the time.
In short Casey is a compulsive lier and she is trying her best to save herself. But I hardly doubt that she can get away with all these web of lies and jury will do the justice. RIP little Caylee.
